SOLUTION: mysql root cannot grant privileges for database


PROBLEM:
-PHPMYADMIN SHOW "NO" FOR GRANT PRIVILEGES FOR ROOT USER
-CANNOT GRANT PRIVILEGES FOR USERS
-RASPBIAN / DEBIAN


SOLUTION:
  1. STOP MYSQL
    sudo service mysql stop     OR      sudo killall mysqld
  2. START MYSQL SKIPPING PRIVILEGES sudo mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &
  3. GRANT PRIVILEGES for root user
    UPDATE mysql.user SET Grant_priv='Y', Super_priv='Y' WHERE User='root';
  4. FLUSH PRIVILEGES
    FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
  5. STOP AND RESTART MYSQLD
     sudo killall mysqld | sudo service mysQL start
